Conrad Fischer. Life and Work of the Borovan Provost

The thesis is dedicated to the person and work of the Borovan provost Conrad Fischer (1631-1701). Based on study of the preserved sources in Czech and foreign archives is in the first part primarily reconstructed the life of Fischer, which took place during the turbulent years of the Thirty Years' War and in the times of the post-war development. The attention is focused on youth of Fischer, education, entry into the order of Augustinian Canons in Klosterneuburg and work in the Borovan Monastery, where he was elected provost in the year 1677. The second part of the thesis is dedicated to codicological analysis and content analysis of the work about history of the Borovan Monastery by Fischer, which he wrote at the end of his life and which original is in the present deposited in Trebon department of the State Regional Archives Trebon. The last part of the thesis includes the critical edition of this work, complemented by nominal and geographical and local registers.

The History of Physical Education and Sport in Borovany

This bachelor thesis deals with the history of physical education and sport in Borovany from the beginning of the founding of Local unity Sokol until 2018. In the first part is described a brief history of Borovany. Furthermore, the work is divided into three main historical periods. In the first period, the development of physical education and later sports is recorded from the year 1908 until the year 1945. The second period focuses mainly on the development of sports sectors between the years 1945 and 1989. The third period records the development of significant sports compartments in Borovany, especially in the years from 1989 to 2018. The last part is presented by the most successful athletes in the history of Borovany.

Rural tourism - municipality of Borovany case study

The aim of bachelor thesis was to do municipality Borovany case study with using aspect of rural tourism and its utilization based on historical, socioeconomic and geographic analysis including land use. All findings from literature regarding this issue are summarized in a theoretical part. In a practical part there was chosen a method of photographs comparison and interviews.

Educational system in Borovany in 1918-1948 in the light of chronicles

This bachelor thesis describes development of education and training in Borovany between 1918-1948. The work is divided into five chapters that follow each other chronologically and include a description of the development of education in Borovany by information from school chronicles. These chapters are further divided thematically. At the beginning of these thesis is described the history of the town and its schools, which serve the general view on this subject. The next chapters that are aimed directly at some specific period in which it is mapped events that affected education in Borovany. This is especially the period after the establishment of independent Czechoslovakia, World War II and the postwar period. The work should contribute to the mapping of education in Borovany in the period 1918-1948.

The Parish of Borovany from the Beginning of the 20th Century until 1953

My work concerns itself with the history of the Roman Catholic parish in Borovany during the years 1900 - 1953. It provides an overview of events during that period, specifically those influenced by the political changes in our country. The first five chapters are devoted to those historical moments in the first half of the 20th century. The last two chapters discuss the customs and personalities of the parish which were characteristic of that period. The interaction of these components gives my work its principal character.

The important part is to identify the Southwest Regional Operational Programme. Another important part of this work is characteristic of the selected towns Trhové Sviny, Borovany and Nové Hrady. These villages are part of microregion Rose, whose strategic document is the Strategic Development Plan Microregion Roses Association, which was developed for the period 2007 - 2013.Strategic Development Plan of the village have developed Borovany and Nové Hrady. Trhové Sviny entirely based on documents Roses Association. There are the projects that were co-financed under the ROP Southwest and the place of implementation in selected cities and their surrounding areas, including financial data

The task summarises general terms, describes bonuses and risks of planning with the public involved. It explains what community planning is. The task also describes the procedure of community planning formation process, the creation of a community plan and the realization of individual activities including their supervision. The practical part focuses on community planning in Borovany and describes the process of planning there, evaluates it and draws conclusions.
